Ogilvy has been a community partner for the last six years. It is an advertising firm that has provided a mentor program, Future Marketers, for no less than 15 sixth grade students each year. In addition, Carla Hendra, the CEO of Ogilvy NE Division, supports PS/MS 123 with an annual financial contribution on top of the generous allotment to implement the Future Marketer's Program. Each year, the Future Marketer's Program meets with Ogilvy staff twice a month. During these sessions students are trained to create a campaign of a popular product that they will target their age group, "tweens". This year, students are designing a new sale's campaign to strengthen the product "Kool Aid" nationally. Over the years, students have done campaigns for Motorola, Yahoo, Sprite, Six Flags and many others. At some point in the future, some of our students may take this training and make advertising a career choice.
